Henschke 'Penny's Hill' Riesling
Scents of floral, aromatic yeastiness strong in this wine. Feels a bit unresolved, gummy with yeasty characters, that floral mouth-perfume thing, sweet citrus fruit in bouquet and palate very nice, good grip and limey pucker in the palate finishing things. Lovely tartness in the mix. Needs time to settle in bottle but has some foundation stones of the Penny’s Hill riesling high points. 89+ Points, Mike Bennie. The Wine Front.
