Description
The 2023 Taché Pinot Noir Rosé marks the 29th release of this small-batch wine, crafted annually from select parcels of estate-grown fruit. First made in 1995 at the suggestion of mentor Trevor Mast, this Rosé was inspired by Domaine Tempier and quickly stood out for its dry, savoury style which was unusual in Australia at the time.
“Attractive mid-depth salmon-pink colour with an orange tinge, the bouquet complex with quince-paste, honey, pomegranate juice and almond characters, the palate likewise complex, rich and yet light on its feet, with a delicious flavour profile and great harmony, the finish dry and appetising. This is a seriously tasty rosé.”
