Derwent Estate 'Calcaire' Chardonnay
Off the back of the award winning 2018 vintage, Derwent’s 2019 release of Calcaire, a vineyard grown on a 250 million year old seabed, promises to live up to the vintage hype. Year on year this wine takes out Top Gold and the Trophy for best chardonnay at the Tasmanian Wine Show. With a portion of the fruit each year sent off to Penfolds for inclusion in Yattarna, this bottling presents one of the best value and most impressive releases from the apple isle.
