Description

Antiyal is a Mapuche (native Chilean) word that means “sons of the sun”. We practice organic and biodynamic agricultural as a means to seek truer flavours from the earths that surround us in the Maipo Valley.

Carménère is rich in dark fruits and spices, blackberries and black pepper. Antiyal's Pura Fe Carmenere is made from 88% Carmenere and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon. All grapes are fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, pressed into 3-4 year old French oak barrels and aged for 10-12 months before bottling. The wine is a pure and well-defined example of Carmenere exhibiting classic blue fruits and spice with supple tannins, firm acidity and a long, structured finish. Enjoy with spicy beef dishes or stuffed peppers.
