A former professional fencer, Jean-Baptiste Semmartin gave it up to study winemaking. Ending up in Burgundy with legendary Emmanuel Giboulot, he yearned for his home in the SouthWest of France. Described by the American writer Jon Bonne as 'Electric Lusciousness' This one is 90% gros manseng and 10% petit manseng, a deeply flavoured, lemon-meets-ripe-apple kinda feel with alpine herbs and a course of intense and delicious, saline mineral feel.
