Description
Floyd is Nero d’Avola like you’ve never seen it—bright, juicy, and bursting with energy. Grown by Chalmers in Northern Heathcote, the fruit is picked early, given a short three-day skin maceration, then gently pressed, fermented in tank, and aged on fine lees through winter. A small sulphur addition at bottling keeps things fresh and honest.
Vivid red and blue fruits leap from the glass—think pomegranate, stewed plum, and fresh strawberry, with hints of poached quince, anise, and a whisper of tannin. It’s light and playful, with natural acidity keeping everything in balance.
Equally suited to early spring evenings or chilled summer afternoons, Floyd is made to be shared, sipped, and loved—whatever the season.
