From a vineyard in Merricks that is leased. This is just the second D.M.L. Reserve. 100% destemmed into open top fermenters and matured in 30% new barriques. A bright ruby red. A complex and perfumed nose redolent of red cherry and raspberry together with a dash of spice and peony. Even better on the palate, which fans out beautifully in the mouth before finishing with tannins that are both superfine and well delineated.
