Pinot Noir

Is Pinot Noir the noblest of all Vitis Vinifera?  We certainly think so at Cru.  From the hallowed slopes of Burgundy, the rugged dales of Jura and the fertile hills of Alsace.  To the river valleys of Germany and the Alpine peaks of the Alto Adige.  From Oregon and Sonoma, all the way to Central Otago and closer to home in the Yarra, Bendigo, Macedon, Gippsland and the Adelaide Hills.  Pinot Noir holds up a mirror to the terroir in which it is grown and demands the respect of all who grow, vinify and drink it.
