Description

It’s the colour of Pinot Noir, or similar, which is unusual for rosato, though that’s Lamoresca for you; always a little quirky and so good in that way, and you never quite know what you’re going to get. A bit like XMAS, at least for some. This is a bigger edition of this wine, and full of flavour and perfume. I’m thinking strawberries, peach, watermelon, with a lick of dusty tannin, some orange peel and dried herb, balanced acidity, and a juicy slightly jellied finish of excellent length. Organically grown at 550m and fermented naturally, this vintage leans into Nero d’Avola for added depth and structure. Expect juicy red fruit, a floral hint from the Moscato, and a savoury, mineral finish.
