A groundbreaking collaboration between Iseya Distillery and Ethical Spirits Co., Scarlet Ethical Amaro embodies a commitment to sustainability and Japanese craftsmanship. The base spirit is distilled from repurposed sake lees and surplus beer, infused with botanicals such as mulberry leaf, wormwood, hops, angelica root, licorice, cinnamon, bergamot, and orange peel. Aged for 1.5 years in reactivated chestnut and cherry wood barrels from Kuroki Honten in Miyazaki, it offers a nuanced profile with notes reminiscent of sakura mochi and a subtle old-bottle character. Limited to 1,200 bottles, this amaro is a testament to circular production and artisanal dedication
