Description
Steve Pannell makes no bones about this being inspired by Bandol Rosé – Domaine Tempier in particular. This comes off some of the property’s original vines, dating back to the late 1800s... It’s a wine of import and ready charm, both expansive and refined, dry, subtly but purposely structured, and just such a delight.

The 2024 Koomilya Mataro Rosé offers us a deeply compelling rosé option that is texturally chalky, flavorsome, long and complex... This is excellent and comes warmly recommended.

It’s the weight of grapey texture that both draws you in and keeps you there. This is a tongue-hugger. It’s a beautiful rosé to sit with because it’s engaging, interesting and – simultaneously – not too taxing.
