The Beauty Shiraz is Hentley Farm’s elegant expression of Barossa Valley Shiraz and a fitting counterpart to The Beast. Grown on the coolest block of our Seppeltsfield vineyard, beside Greenock Creek, the fruit is co-fermented with a small portion of Viognier to enhance its lifted aromatics. Silky, refined and beautifully composed, The Beauty reveals vibrant fruit, floral detail and fine, supple tannins, capturing the softness and elegance that inspired its name.
"Shiraz co-fermented with a dab of viognier from the western Barossa. Super-deep magenta/crimson with pure macerated plum, blackberry and blueberry fruits, underlying hints of baking spices, sage, citrus blossom, dark chocolate, licorice, panforte, blueberry pie and earth. Full bodied with a velvety travel across the palate, incredibly pure blue and black fruits, the tight, powdery, ferrous-edged tannins and a bright acidity pushing everything along beautifully.
