A former professional fencer, Jean-Baptiste Semmartin gave it up to study winemaking. Ending up in Burgundy with legendary Emmanuel Giboulot, he yearned for his home in the SouthWest of France. Described by the American writer Jon Bonne as 'Electric Lusciousness' The wines are dry styled wines full of energy it is a blend of Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng typical of the region, but here imbued with brilliant, crystalline, briny-saline acidity and a sense of minerality despite a little plushness and softness to texture.
