Description
Diebolt-Vallois is a family-owned Champagne house in Cramant, Côte des Blancs, famous for artisanal, mineral-driven Blanc de Blancs and age-worthy wines from old vines in top Grand Cru sites like Cramant, Chouilly, and Epernay, now run by siblings Arnaud and Isabelle under Jacques Diebolt's watchful eye, known for purity, finesse, and presence in top restaurants globally.
The creaminess of Cramant is the signature of this cuvée, likened by Isabelle Diebolt to butter and brioche. The result more than transcends its warm 2015 vintage base, a wonderful contrast between the depth of deep reserves and the tension and crunch of northern Côte des Blancs chardonnay. It froths and churns with outstanding fine chalk minerality, seamlessly integrating with grapefruit, lemon and apple. Its effortless juxtaposition of freshness, tension and deep-set concentration is profound, concluding with breathtaking freshness, seamless line, enduring length and the utmost integrity. 96 Points - Tyson Stelzer, The Champagne Guide
