Clase Azul Tequila Gold is a joven tequila that combines Clase Azul Tequila Plata, a special reposado tequila matured in French oak casks, and an extra añejo finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. This golden spirit with brilliant highlights has a medium body. Its aroma features toasted wood, agave nectar, orange peel, almond, and hints of fresh fig, raisin, and walnut. The palate reveals flavors of cooked agave, almond, and fig marmalade, leading to a long finish of cacao and dried plum. Recommended pairings include brie cheese, tangerine or lemon, and bittersweet or white chocolate. The decanter, inspired by the sunset, darkens as it approaches the top, representing dusk embracing the golden light, and is adorned with two 24-karat gold ribbons painted by hand.
