Description
Clase Azul Reposado is a celebrated expression of Mexican craftsmanship, offering a harmonious blend of tradition and refinement. Crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the red clay soils of Los Altos de Jalisco, the agave piñas are slow-cooked in masonry ovens, then crushed to extract their rich sugars. Fermentation with proprietary yeast and double distillation in copper pot stills yield a spirit of exceptional purity. This tequila is then aged for eight months in American whiskey casks, imparting a smooth, complex character.
The result is a pale gold tequila with golden highlights and a medium to full body. On the nose, it reveals aromas of cooked agave, agave nectar, candied orange peel, toasted wood, and subtle notes of hazelnut, clove, and vanilla. The palate offers flavors of agave nectar, ripe orange peel, toasted hazelnut, bittersweet chocolate, cinnamon, and clove, culminating in a spiced finish. It pairs beautifully with smoked provolone cheese, orange or tangerine slices, and bittersweet or milk chocolate.
Each bottle is a masterpiece, hand-painted by Mexican artisans with distinctive cobalt blue feathered brushstrokes, making it as much a piece of art as a luxurious spirit.
