Description

Remember the Alamos. They make heaps of it, and it’s invariably pretty good. Importer: Negociants Plum, boysenberry, dried roses and herbs, a sort of tamarillo tang in there too. It’s medium-bodied, but full of flavour, pushes along very nicely, tastes very much like Malbec, and finishes crisp and pretty long. Has some nutty flavours too, and an appropriate level of tannin that lends enough structure, but doesn’t compromise its easy drinking ideal. Beauty. 91 Points - Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
