“Slate, schist and mixed other minerals. So, so much of both. Texture in sheets; layers of firm, swishing tannin that sparkle with pumice and terracotta-like feel, and, then, there’s that dark cherry, brine-soaked black olive, sage character in the mix. Oh my. Seriously good wine here. Complex, intense, set under medium weight but with so much impact, especially the texture. Oh that texture. And so bright. An epic wine. A gourmand experience.
