A hat tip to one of the nicest fellows in the wine game. If you’re familiar with Melbourne restaurants, you may just know who allocated this fruit to us. It’s Heathcote fruit from the Wanted Man vineyard, which is on rather unique soils for the region, very lean and bony. This is bright and blue-fruited but very youthful and tightly coiled on the palate. We’d recommend cellaring a few for five to eight years if you’ve got the space to. Winery Notes
