Description

The 2015 vintage produced a different style of Belford, and is almost Germanic in its style. At six years of age the wine shows a deeper colour than previous vintages, however the palate has a wonderful texture and grain that runs through the wine.

The nose is wonderfully complex here with flint, dried citrus rind, dried green apples, guava peel and lots of well-integrated and subtle notes of cloves and spices. Full body, fresh acidity, lovely tangy fruit and a long, mineral finish. Leave this a couple of years to reach its prime. 93 Points | JamesSuckling.com
