The vines for this wine are over 45 years old and are some of the earliest ripening in the the area. He's been organically certified for some years and now also follows biodynamic practices. Use of sulphur is eliminated save for a very small amount during bottling. Annual production is only small, running to less than 10,000 bottles. The wine itself is bright, pure and succulent, full of ripe red cherries and at the same time being brilliantly light and elegant.
