Grosset Noble reminded me of pears and baked fruits. The aroma and flavour are amazingly intense and there’s a great balance of sweetness and acidity. Bourne found ‘lime cordial and poached pear characters with crème brulee richness and a fine, crisp acid finish.’ For all its flavour, the wine shows beautiful finesse. It will gain complexity in bottle, but at the expense of the fruit purity which is an outstanding feature at present. 96 points, Nick Bulleid MW, Gourmet Traveller Wine
