Description
Krondorf Bushvine Mataro (60%), Krondorf 1999 Grenache (40%)
The first ever Rosé we’ve made, the drive coming from my fiancée Megan who had been wanting one for a few years. So she got it along with a set of initials MK and an X for a kiss on the label. This Rosé is based around those from Southern France, in particular the Bandol styles that we prefer drinking. We’ve gone for a Mataro dominant blend to help replicate the savouriness of those Bandol’s.
Salmon and onion skin in colour with aromas of fresh Turkish Delight, faint raspberry with light dry provincial herbs and earthen tones. The palate is alive with refreshing melon and washy pink fruits, savoury herbal tones and a clean dry rosewater and provincial herb finish. Refreshing and palate cleansing! Winemakers Notes
