Description

The 2018 Mâcon-Verzé comes from nine different vineyards over 13 hectares and is matured in stainless steel, concrete and a small amount of used oak. This was scheduled to be bottled toward the end of 2019. It has pretty Granny Smith apple and wet limestone aromas that are well defined. The palate is crisp and fresh, with a strong citric element and a touch of sour lemon toward the powerful finish. 87-89 points, Neal Martin, Vinous

This too is notably cool with more citrus influence on the restrained green apple aromas. There is slightly more volume if not quite the same refinement to the delicious middle weight flavors that flash a touch of minerality on the equally youthfully austere finale.
