Domaine Naturaliste ‘Discovery’ Cabernet Sauvignon
The nose here is tempting to say the least – cassis, raspberry and fields of violets and sage. The palate follows obediently, the acidity being the last thing that swoops in and cleans everything up …. What a gorgeous wine. Testament to the year, the hands and the vineyards. Ridiculous price. 95 points, Erin Larkin, James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion
There’s a very fresh red-fruit nose here with raspberries and red cherries, as well as plums on offer. The palate is ripe and richly flavored, yet remains on a fresh red-fruit stance. Smooth finish. 92 points, James Suckling
A very good vintage for reds in Margaret River. Very good Cabernet. 92 points, Gary Walsh
