Description

Extended skin contact before being fermented wild in large French oak.

The mouthfeel of this wine is quite something. It’s about presence, really. There’s no overt oak flavour but it has grip and volume, both of which effectively characterise the wine. Lime is the main flavour driver with bath salt and floral notes adding breadth. There’s a slight spritz in play here and a suggestion of lemon sorbet too. And then there’s that powerful, grippy finish, herb-flecked. The quality is obvious but it’s fascinating to boot.
