Laurent Combier Crozes-Hermitage 'Cuvee L'
A pioneer of organic farming in France, Maurice Combier, even if it means sounding crazy, has always followed his convictions. From 1970, while viticulture discovered the “benefits” of technical progress, productivity and clones, he continued to advocate manual work and hard work in the land. During all his years at the head of the estate, his priority for respect for the environment and the quality of its fruit will give him a head start to become an example in the Rhône Valley.
The Crozes-Hermitage "Cuvée L" was born in 1999 with the arrival of the first concrete eggs. Mainly made up of young vines, this is the ultimate pleasure cuvée, a wine that Laurent wanted accessible to all.
Freshness, fruitiness and delicacy are the hallmarks of this wine for each vintage. Blend of young vines owned and purchase of grapes from different towns in the south of the appellation. Winery Notes
