Cullen 'Grace Madeline'
The wine sits at 93% sauvignon blanc with the rest semillon. It had me at hello.
Slippery textured with just a little bit of pucker and grip to finish. Lots of regal scents, exotic stone fruits, chamomile, fine honey, toast and balsa wood. Flavours are tightly bound, stone fruits again here dashed with spicy wood elements. Citrusy too, and there’s lovely creaminess in the mix. Fresh feeling. Concentrated but lifts and refreshes the palate. A feast for the senses, really. A beautiful, medium weight white wine, good now, great later too. 95 Points, Mike Bennie. The Wine Front.
